The Franchisor

GTSS is the distributor for Glass Technology Inc. products and equipment in Australia and New Zealand. GTSS is also franchisor of the GTSS system. The headlight, taillight and steering wheel repair systems have been researched, developed and refined by GTSS over more than 10 years. These systems have been designed to work in conjunction  with GT Incs’ leading edge products to create a business system that provides a diverse range of niche market   services to the automotive industry.

The company directors are Mark and Tracy Elliott and Michael and Karen LeBreton.  Both couples purchased windscreen repair territories in Brisbane in 1992. With only an hours training and no previous experience in the business Michael made over $1000 in his first week in business. At that time there was no system for developing a new business and virtually no back-up from the then Australian distributor.

In January 1994, Michael and Karen sold their Brisbane Southside territory and bought the Sunshine Coast territory. A little over a year later the franchise income was approaching $2000/wk. Mark and Tracy operated their Brisbane Bayside franchise for eighteen months before purchasing the Queensland State distribution rights.  With the help of Michael and Karen, they set about developing a Franchise business system that would compliment Glass Technology’s world leading repair equipment.

Glass Technology Sunshine State Pty Ltd (GTSS) was formed in May 1995 when the two couples combined their businesses. GTSS then purchased the distribution rights for NSW. In April 2005 GTSS purchased the Australian Distributorship. Today GTSS has an exclusive agreement with GT Inc. (click on GT Inc  ) for the supply of all its windscreen repair equipment and products.

Mark manages marketing and training, Tracy and Karen (sisters) manage product distribution and accounts respectively whilst Michael manages the Sunshine Coast franchise and canvassing in new GT territories.
